**ABOUT THE COMPANY**

We are recruiting for a part time experienced Bookkeeper to work for 2 technology companies.

One of our clients has offices in the city centre of Exeter and the other on the outskirts.

**THE ROLE/ DUTIES**:
As a Bookkeeper you will:

- Work with the members of the whole team to contribute to the delivery of the Business Plan.
- Maintain General Ledger within Xero, ensuring all control accounts are reconciled within agreed timescales each month end.
- Maintain Purchase Ledger, working within the company procedures to operate a fortnightly supplier payment run.
- Maintain Sales Ledger, raising invoices on customers within contracted terms and maintain effective Credit Control.
- Liaise with the payroll bureau and ensure employees and payroll deductions are paid at term.
- Submit accurate quarterly VAT returns.
- Assist the CFO with the collation of ad hoc data.
- Maintain a detailed forecast of routine expenditure.
