**_ The opportunity:_**

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Advanced Targeting business for a Project Leader for the CIRCM Production Programme. This role offers an opportunity to move into Project Management in a high profile, fast paced, programme.

The primary role is to support the Project Manager in leading the IPT to successfully deliver the CIRCM Production Project. In addition, support various development and Second Source activities to protect the Production Programme.

The three main objectives being to ensure continued Customer satisfaction, minimised business risk and maintain project costs/schedule within approved costs.

**_ What you’ll do as a Project Leader_**
- Lead the IPT on day-to-day activities.
- Monitor accuracy of resource management and coordinate with planning to maintain accurate SAP plans.
- Undertake the regular Planning activities of the project to ensure the accuracy of the forward load and milestones within SAP.
- Contribute to the preparation, management and review of bids (for follow on business and development activities) and communicate to the relevant internal stakeholders in order to support the defined requirements.
- Support the maintenance of the Lifecycle Management framework that governs the operation of the IPT.
- Coordinate/contribute to the preparation of Customer reviews, Supplier reviews and internal project reviews.
- Complete risk and opportunity studies using Leonardo risk processes to measure exposure to risk and provide recommendations to Project Managers.
- Support production FRACAS and MRB process

**_ What we need from you:_**
- Proficient on SAP - experience of planning and project management elements useful.
- Breadth of understanding in all parts of lifecycle and experience in some stages.
- Knowledge and experience of Project Management practices
Experience in developing and maintaining internal/external Customer and Supplier relationships
- Evidence of ability to work independently.
- Good organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
