**Job Summary**:
The Museum and Art Gallery at East Dunbartonshire are both exciting and busy heritage and arts attractions all year round. Hosting permanent and temporary displays of
Local heritage and visual art, sculpture & têxtiles including renowned local and international Scottish artists. We are seeking a highly motivated and personable person to Oversee the day to day operations of both sites and the artistic programming working closely with the Heritage & Arts team. You will be required to develop a
high knowledge of our vast object and art work collections which reside at both sites. Building good relationships with local community exhibiting groups and peers within
the Scottish Art Gallery and National Museums network will be essential.
**Requirements**:
Successful applicants will have a strong understanding of the importance of the experience of visitors as they will be responsible for leading a team to increase footfall and broaden audiences at both sites.
They will have sounds knowledge and experience of building operations including security and health and safety. They will also have experience in the coordination and installation of exhibitions
and the handling and proper care of art work and museum objects. They will have experience of working and leading within a team.

In specific circumstances the payment could be deducted in instalments from an employee’s wages following commencement of employment. Approval in such circumstances will be made by HR Services Lead.
