Are you a highly organised professional with experience in higher education? Are you a skilled administrator with finance support experience? Our client, the Business School of a top London university, has asked us to recruit for a Senior Business Operations Officer to join their team. This one-month assignment offers the benefit of working two days a week in the office and three days from home.

As Senior Business Operations Officer, you’ll be part of the Business Support Team of the university’s Business School. You’ll be contributing to the day-to-day delivery of operational and business functions for the school. A large element of the role focuses on finance processing, such as raising purchase orders and setting up suppliers using SharePoint. Additionally, you’ll assist with HR processes, such as coordinating the on-boarding process of new staff. You’ll be ordering laptops and office supplies, assigning lockers, and setting up staff cards. Other general ad hoc tasks will include health and safety, sending out surveys, and ordering supplies.

**Senior Business Operations Officer Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain records on procurement, assets and inventory, and provide advice to service users on financial processes.
- To be a key point of contact for the Business Support Team, providing assistance to service users as appropriate.
- Support HR processes, such as staff recruitment, induction, onboarding and offboarding.
- Oversee local space and infrastructure matters, liaising with other departments as needed.
- Assist with general administration for health and safety.
- Update local internet, intranet, and SharePoint pages.
- Provide administrative support to a range of general and ad-hoc projects, and act as a committee or meeting secretary.

- Experience within higher education is essential.

**Salary**: £20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
