**Overall Objectives**:
In addition to providing the day-to-day support as part of the Help Desk team you will also have new business involvement as a first stage project member. Your experience and knowledge will make you a natural point of reference for your manager, the OperationsDepartment, Business Intelligence Team and the Customer Service Team.
Other duties will include:

- SAP configuration for WM, SD, PP & MM modules to meet new and changing business requirements
- Maintaining and checking SAP master data
- Creating and updating ABAP programs, SAP Scripts and SmartForms
- Setting up links to external customer systems via AS2, IDOC and file transfer
- Supporting end-to-end testing with external customer systems
- Preparation of technical, end-user and validation documentation associated with the activities above
- Ad hoc data extraction, analysis and reporting.

**Core Skills**:

- Transactional and configuration expertise in the SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management) and WM (Warehouse Management) modules of SAP
- Development competency in ABAP, SmartForms and SAP Script
- Competency in standard MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to organise team workload and delegate as appropriate.
- Desire to motivate, support, mentor and train individuals and teams.
**Desirable Skills**:

- Knowledge of other SAP modules: FI (Finance), PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management)
- SAP BASIS skills (authorisations, printer management, archiving, communication technologies)
- Technical expertise in SOAP, JSON, AS2 and other web interfacing technologies
- Experience of SAP Console and barcoding technology (ZPL, EPL, GS1)
- SQL expertise (creating scripts, creating new/updating tables)
**Key Tasks**:
1.To work and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
3.To carry out assigned tasks as part of the Help Desk Team via the Helpdesk.
4.To provide support for the SAP Console RF and barcoding system.
5.To carry out SAP configuration and development work to meet the needs of the business.
6.Help with information and reporting for the Business Intelligence Team.
7.To manage SAP data archiving for all accounts in an accurate and timely manner.
8.To follow Quality System (PID - Process Instruction Documents) for daily activities.
9.Define and implement business procedures.
10.Liaise with other Business Analysts within the company about new process and procedures.
11.To continually review and suggest alternative ways of working to ensure we are continually improving the way we work.
12.To undertake such other duties as the management may from time to time reasonably require.
13.To ensure company procedures are being adhered to at all times via training and workshops
14.To work closely with all departments to enable effective communication throughout the teams.
