**The Opportunity**:
The UK continues to experience unprecedented climate and biodiversity emergencies. As the UK’s largest Wildlife Trust Consultancy, Middlemarch has a unique understanding of both the scale of the challenge and the vital importance of championing the recovery of the natural environment.

We’re embarking on a new strategy that puts the enhancement of the natural environment at its core. This strategy will be delivered by our team of over 100 natural environment professionals and support staff throughout the UK, helping our clients to navigate a rapidly changing legislative and policy landscape while safeguarding the environment, enhancing biodiversity, and combatting climate challenges.

As we embark on this exciting journey, we’re looking for passionate graduate, early-career, or consultant/senior level applicants to join our dynamic team and become a part of our biodiversity-positive legacy.

**The Role**:
We have number of opportunities for biodiversity graduates and professionals to join our dedicated UK-wide team, including our industry-leading nature-based solutions team. We all share an unwavering commitment to striking a balance between the need for development with protecting and enhancing the natural environment.

We’re particularly keen to hear from applicants with experience or a strong interest in:

- biodiversity net gain, including use of biodiversity metrics and design and delivery of net gain solutions.
- habitat survey and condition assessment, including UK Habs classification survey.
- natural capital and ecosystem services evaluation and advice.
- habitat design and creation.
- land management advice, particularly agri-environmental expertise.
- GIS (geographic information systems)
