**Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing and managing all commissioning activities on the project site, encompassing setup, management, and finalization of the Commissioning plan.
- Supervising a team of commissioning and testing personnel who report directly to you on-site.
- Directing the Commissioning Tagging process and associated procedures.
- Providing comprehensive progress updates on Commissioning activities, both internally and externally.
- Chairing weekly commissioning meetings and actively guiding weekly commissioning tasks.
- Attending weekly commissioning meetings with the Main Contractor and clients, delivering weekly progress reports.
- Collaborating with project planners to establish the Project commissioning schedule.
- Managing "Lock Out - Tag Out" Processes and procedures.
- Overseeing the issuance of Area Control Permits for all controlled areas, primarily focusing on Electrical Switch rooms, to ensure strict control and restriction.
- Taking responsibility for compiling all Testing and Commissioning Documentation, including thorough verification and approval of results.
- Demonstrating familiarity with and managing the Project Commissioning Schedule in conjunction with other trades, Package Leads, consulting Engineers, and Client requirements.
- Ensuring meticulous tracking of all testing and commissioning personnel on the site, with daily issuance of labor allocation Tracker sheets.
- Managing day-to-day on-site commissioning operations.
- Supervising sub-contractor activities, including monitoring progress against the schedule and manpower targets. Ensuring weekly documented meetings with sub-contractors.
- Overseeing all commissioning-related snagging, ensuring timely closure of all identified issues (within one week of being raised).
- Participating in Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings, and Handover Meetings.
- Facilitating the resolution of all project-related matters with support from the Electrical and Mechanical package managers.
- Implementing a weekly lookahead plan to ensure effective coordination with vendors and trades.
- Issuing an internal weekly progress report, detailing completion percentages based on Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) codes, highlighting concerns, and identifying controllable risk elements like late deliveries.
- Cultivating strong professional relationships with key personnel from the General Contractor, Client, and third-party commissioning Teams.

Key Requirements for the Role:

- Possession of an Engineering degree coupled with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a commissioning manager capacity, ideally within the realm of substantial industrial undertakings.
- Demonstrated comprehensive Commissioning expertise encompassing the prevalent Mechanical and Electrical systems inherent to Data Centres.
- Profound grasp of building regulations and adherence to European standards, codes, and practices.
- Proficiency in orchestrating and executing a comprehensive Integrated Systems Testing with prior experience in this domain being imperative.
- Mastery in the creation of all requisite documentation and adeptness in managing their completion through digital platforms.
- Exceptional organizational capabilities coupled with a proven track record of adeptly prioritizing tasks to meet project timelines and fiscal constraints.
- Outstanding communication prowess, spanning all tiers, and adeptness in furnishing succinct reports to the management team and clients.
- Proficiency in crafting detailed reports, presentations, and assignments consistently to exacting standards.
- Proficient utilization of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Proficiently managing interactions with clients and contractor vendors to ensure meticulous adherence to specifications and the punctual commissioning of all machinery/equipment, harmonizing with the tagging/commissioning process.
- Demonstrated delegation proficiency, with a discerning grasp of when and to whom to assign tasks.
- Flourishing within a collaborative team environment and boasting robust interpersonal skills.
- Assumption of leadership in motivating and directing the entire team.
- Exceptional time management capabilities.
