Traffic Clerk

WS Transportation are looking for a Traffic Clerk to be based at our Wisbech office. As a Traffic Clerk you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of materials, information, and transportation within our company. You will ensure that all shipments are processed accurately and on time, maintain records, and communicate effectively with various departments and external partners.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers, suppliers, and customers.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities.
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners to resolve any shipping or delivery issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Traffic Clerk or in a similar logistics/transportation role.
- Preferred experience with The Pallet Network
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with logistics and transportation management systems.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

- Monday to Friday
