Traffic Clerk

To manage the logístical process of products and ensure the effective coordination for the best possible performance of inbound and outbound loads.

You will be responsible to check all outbound order that go on the system, allocate the stock, ensure stock is on the buffers ready for loading, deal with all drivers inbound and despatch paperwork, ensure driver leaves with correct paperwork and CMR is required. Monitor orders throughout the day to ensure there have been no amendments.

Shift rotating 2s 3s 0700-1900 (30 min lunch) - weekly hours 40.25 and hourly pay. More information can be provided at interview.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure all loads are assembled in time for despatch,
- NAV Key User, first line support for all system queries,
- Processing driver paperwork, customer order management, stock allocation, processing of all inbound and outbound orders, monitoring of MFCS system to ensure warehouse efficiency
- Responsible for planning the orders and coordinating the logístical activities of the company. Issuing process orders to forklift truck drivers and pickers.
- Scheduling orders using the in house warehouse system, in consultation with the Shift Leaders and in accordance with the agreements with customers and drivers. Continuous monitoring the schedule and making adjustments if necessary.
- Maintaining daily contact with the customers and drivers or their representatives on their progresses, priorities, anomalies and issues.
- Identifying anomalies and issues, informing the Operations Manager/Shift Leader, agreeing to corrective action to be taken.
- Process the administration information relating to the logístical activities
- Leasing with warehouse staff in order for the logístical orders to be carried out efficiently i. e FLT Drivers, operators and pickers.
- Continuous monitoring of developments in the work area
- Continuing to focus on opportunities for improvements and cost savings
- General hygiene related activities
- Health and Safety awareness and involvement
- To assist in any other duties that are within your ability.
