We are looking for a UX Practice Lead to join us on a permanent basis.

Our UK Head office is in Luton but TUI believes that work is something you do, not somewhere you go. We believe in offering as much flexibility to the individual on whether they work from an office or elsewhere. Of course there may be occasions when we willneed you in the office for business reasons, but wherever reasonable we allow you to make the choice.

**ABOUT THE JOB**

The primary responsibility of the UX Practice Lead is the continual efficient running of the UX Design team on a day to day basis. You’ll be the glue that binds the UX Designers together across the different teams and markets - ensuring that UX doesn’t happenin isolation, and that the benefits of a managed community of UX designers are realised.

This will be achieved by managing and facilitating many of the processes inherent in effective, usercentred UX. Whether this is monitoring and measuring design iterations and feedback loops, or running design reviews according to good practice, capturingand progressing actions, or liaising with stakeholders on behalf of UX - you will strive to constantly improve our processes and outputs, with a mind to the efficiency needed to work in alignment with our agile principles and delivery teams. You’ll be makingsure that there is always visibility of work upcoming and in progress, and that there is regular communication between designers across the pods, maintaining a strong community within UX and ensuring collaboration opportunities are identified.

Key to success in this role will be your strong facilitation skills and experience of UX techniques. As well as the standard, regular processes you’ll oversee, you’ll also be setting up, running and capturing outputs from design workshops in support of theroadmap priorities across the teams - for instance, cognitive walkthroughs, stakeholder reviews, design sprints and working groups. This will support DX Leads in delivering regular collaborative processes, and in return they will provide guidance and expertise.

You’ll also be managing and curating UX Design artefacts and learning resources. From sketches, wireframes and prototypes to self service testing outputs, you’ll be ensuring that the ideas, knowledge and solutions we create around the team are easily accessibleto maximise cross-team sharing and collaboration. You’ll also create and manage structures to allow team members to easily find useful reference content to help with both specific design challenges and overall learning and development (for example, providingUX content for the Design System). You’ll take views from the team on the content they would value, and feedback on the content you provide, to ensure the library is a useful resource.

You will lead on design initiatives relevant across the teams, such as our Accessible Design programme, where your knowledge of this topic will allow you to facilitate and support designers as they develop their knowledge and proficiency collectively andindividually.

And of course you won’t be averse to delivering high quality UX design when called upon in support of the teams or on specific projectsAcross all this you’ll be collaborating very closely with UI Practice and Research & Insights teams, working togetherto minimise friction at all stages of the process.

To do all this, you’ll be using your experience of the challenges, tools and processes used in an Agile, commercial and fast-paced environment - and your knowledge of disciplines adjacent to UX Design such as UI, digital research, and optimisation.
