A varied Accounts and Administrative role has become available in our busy office on Portland. We would love to find a motivated and self organised person to manage our customer invoicing experience along with some occasional administrative tasks.
**Job Role**
**Accounts**
- Managing the accounts inbox and resolving customer invoice queries in a timely manner
- Raising customer and supplier credits when necessary
- Keeping track of any supplier credit requests
- Completion of supplier billing whilst working to tight deadlines
- Reporting any discrepancies to the management team
- Providing reports in a timely manner to management team (weekly, fortnightly and monthly)
- Monitoring over payments and liaising with the credit control department
- Credit control support
- Sending invoices to freight team to check
- Supplier payments and updating internal log with payment date
**Admin**
- Dealing with daily post
- General admin as and when needed
- Organise staff events and office lunches
- Stationery orders
- Health and safety compliance
- PAT Testing
- Risk assessments
- H&S statement
- Office insurance
**Key skills**
- Previous accounts / bookkeeping experience 2/3 years
- Ability to use own initiative
- Problem solving attitude and ability to identify solutions that comply with company policies
- Highly organised with experience of working in a high volume role
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral
- Good at managing customer expectations and timescales
- The ability to work autonomously
- Methodical and accurate with strong attention to detail
- Use of MS Office
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £24,500.00-£27,000.00 per year
