Graduate Trainee

We are looking for a recent ENGINEERING GRADUATE to join our growing niche manufacturing business working in the aerospace and defence sectors. We are one of the world’s leading specialists in ballscrews and we design and manufacture ballscrew actuation for several high profile and long running aerospace programmes.

We also have an unenviable reputation across all commercial sectors for repair and refurbishment so our work is varied and complex. We pride ourselves on our focus on customer service, quality and precision manufacturing.

This GRADUATE TRAINEE role provides an opportunity to build a broad range of experience from production control to customer and supplier liaison working in a small close, knit team working with major aerospace and defence OEM customers.

As a Trainee Production Controller you will organise the throughput of manufactured and repaired items and you will also provide the link between production and the customer.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Managing the MRP and Route Planning systems
- Purchasing raw materials, components and consumables
- Manage calibrated equipment, tooling stock and general stock systems
- Liaison and feedback to customers
- Conduct machine maintenance schedules

**What experience do you need?**
- You should be a recent engineering graduate in mechanical, manufacturing or manufacturing systems
