Yard Operative

Perfect Vehicle Preparation are looking for a Yard Operative to join our team based in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is 45 hours per week at a rate of £12 per hour.

The Yard Operative will be a key part of the vehicle preparation process, moving vehicles with care between processes and into and out of storage as required by the business operations.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Moving vehicles with care around site between the various workshops and parking areas.
- Working carefully and efficiently in the movement of vehicles.
- Handling keys securely.
- Completing any other tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the site.
- Ability to drive all types of cars; manual, automatic, electric, and keyless.
- Ability to follow instruction and meet deadlines.
- A team player - willing to help others.
- The ability to comply with all Health and Safety instructions and requirements.
- Understands the needs of both customers and the company and demonstrates this in their work.
- Takes ownership of all aspects of their role, working without close supervision and demonstrating effective self-management.
- Able to work as a team, and support and assist colleagues.
- You may be required to undertake other duties to meet business requirements and settings, including working alongside other departments.
- Comply with all Health and Safety instructions and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others who may be working or entering the work area and report all hazards to your line manager.
