Residential Care Worker - no experience required - Oswestry, Shropshire
Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for a new role? Or are you looking to start your career in the care sector and don't know where to start?
We are looking for Support Workers to join a 3 bedded Children's Residential home in Oswestry specialising in SEMH care for children aged from 8 - 17.
**Your new company**
You will be joining an organisation whose ethos is embedded in positive change for every child. The company specialise in caring for Children who may have social, behavioural, and emotional difficulties through neglect or trauma. The overall vision and goalis always about securing the best possible outcome for the children in their care and to offer full care and support on their journey to full independence.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people.
- The ability to form meaningful relationships and communicate effectively with parents and other family members; social workers; school staff and other professionals.
- Demonstrate Resilience and work effectively with your team and independently.
- Reliable, Trustworthy, and caring.
- Provide a nurturing, therapeutic environment and care, support, and supervision to help the child or young person to progress.
- Ability to undertake household tasks, cooking, shopping, laundry and independent living skills to the child or young person.
- Work within the safeguarding and child protection guidelines.

**What you'll get in return**

You will receive a competitive salary of £20,535 sleeps are paid in addition at £45.00
(Salary and sleeps are due to be increased from April)
