Battery Electronics Assembler

AceOn are UK Renewable Energy & Battery Specialists.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team of battery pack assemblers.

Do you have a technical background or knowledge of different battery technologies, electronics (BMS / PCB)? If so, that would be great. But if not, don’t worry as we can provide training for the right person with a positive attitude who wants to learn and enhance their skills and knowledge.

To join a well-established battery assembly team who manufacture complex and standard battery packs. The work will be operated in a clean environment which is fast paced with a good variation of different operations.

**Main Responsibilities**

1. To manufacture battery packs to the allocated Sales/Factory order and to work to a detailed drawing to assemble the battery packs.

2. To perform duties as instructed by the Production Manager with a particular emphasis towards quality of the product.

3. Operations which include gluing, light duty spot-welding, heat-shrinking, labelling & volt reading testing

4. Use of machines including vac-former, cutting machine etc.

5. Full training on site by the Production Manager.

- Natural thinking ability to produce customer-specific battery packs to a very high standard.
- Ability to promote a positive ethos and role model positive attributes.
- Able to plan and work effectively under pressure.
- Well-developed written and oral skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to raising standards.
- Effective organisational skills and attention to details.
- Undertake tasks under the direction of the Production Manager.
- Plan and prioritise tasks and work under the pressure in a busy production department.

**Personal Specification**

Should be dexterous and have the ability to understand and follow clearly defined written instructions including interpretation of drawings, particularly in those areas where visual inspection is required. They should be capable of understanding AceOn Group high quality standards which they should try to achieve at all times. They must be an enthusiastic team player able to integrate with a friendly and jovial work staff that we already have in place. It is important that the applicant enjoys hands on work and has a strong desire to work.

Hours of work & Holidays

Monday-Thursday 8:00-4:15 & Friday 8:00-3:00. Holidays
- 22 Days + Bank Holidays

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour
