**Job summary**:
HSE is maturing its approach to managing and delivering change to enable the delivery of our ambitious roadmap of transformation and we’re building a team of change, project management and delivery professionals to support this work.

We are leading on a number of cross government, multi agency programmes in addition to a series of internal transformational initiatives: from establishing a new Building Safety Regulator to a post EU exit Chemicals regulation regime. We’re designing new digital services to transform the way we deliver services and regulate, enabling new operating models, and transitioning to agile methods of development and delivery

HSE is the national regulator for work-related health and safety in Great Britain and is committed to playing its part in the delivery of healthier, safer workplaces. HSE’s primary focus is on the health and safety of workers, but our regulatory interest extends to cover the impact on the public, consumers, and the environment.
The HSE’s Operational Services Division (OSD), is responsible for the administration and delivery of the Permissioning regimes for asbestos licensing and Adventure Activities Licensing and radiation notifications.

**Job description**:
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Developing a good understanding of the role and functions of the Licensing and Permissioning Unit.
4. Issuing reminders and supporting information requests to applicants.
5. Recording relevant information and communications on systems and case files.
7. Preparing reports, case files and statistics, as and when required.
8. Handling queries about registrations, consents, licensing, and notifications from duty holders and applicants external to HSE and from internal HSE users
9. Supporting Divisional programmes and projects as required, for example Digital and Business Improvement activities which could include, user acceptance testing for new systems and digital tools, training new team members and supporting new process implementations.
10. Providing general assistance and undertaking other administrative tasks required for the smooth running of the Division.
