**Emotional Health & Wellbeing Practitioner (children and young people)**
Kidz Konnekt are looking to recruit a Youth Support Worker to support a small caseload of children and young people with a view to improving their Emotional Health and Wellbeing.
Working on a referral basis you will provide Keyworker support to Children & Young People who don’t meet the threshold of other services or who are awaiting help and would benefit from low level interventions and access to support and positive activities as a preventative measure.
The Support Workers will provide one to one, assessment, action planning and brokerage for the children, young people and families.
If you have Youth Work skills and are a caring, positive and friendly person who really wants to support the emotional well-being of children and young people 7-16yrs old this could be the post for you.
As a wraparound to the one to one support you provide you will be supported by a multi skilled team including other Youth Workers, Outdoor Activity Instructors, Musicians, Artists and Sports Leaders to provide supportive, fun, exciting and educational pathways of support for children and young people on the programme.
We are currently delivering the majority of our work in the Greater Eston area mainly TS6 but projects do run across Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland.
Hours: 20hrs a week
**Salary**: £25,313 - 27,344 (pro rata)
Post is for 1yr initially and you will work days and evenings Mon-Fri
