Figtree House Care are now looking to expand their care team
We are looking for compassionate, kind and supportive member to join our team of carers, who can work with elderly people in their own homes.
To assist the Manager in the provision of a caring, supportive and stimulating environment for the clients at their own homes. To share with other staff in meeting the personal care needs of residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes their independence. Also to help in the general day - to - day activities of the home and to be willing to take care responsibilities hands on when necessary, with a view to providing best care striving for ‘Outstanding’
**Operations**:
- To communicate a clear sense of leadership which staff and clients understand and are able to relate to the aims and purposes of the care they receive at their own homes.
- To support staff in the delivery of the services this will include training and developing and performance management including regular supervision.
- To ensure adherence to all requirements and regulations under CQC.
- To ensure the complaints procedure is adhered to at all times, and that all complaints are dealt within the agreed time frame, in writing and to ensure a positive outcome.
- To carry out all appropriate risk assessments relating to staff and clients.
- To carry out regular management and assessment of the service delivered to Figtree House Care clients at all times.
- To ensure that all records and financial transactions are maintained with receipts etc. as appropriate.
- To ensure that all information that is requested is completed accurately and within the time frame give.
- Provides a lead role in the updating, training and appraisal of of all staff and instruction of all care staff in safe systems of work, fire safety and evacuation procedures.
- Assisting with the appropriate management of supplies and equipment ensuring value for money and working within within the pre-agreed budget.
- Assisting with the monitoring standards of care delivered by all care staff by observation and direct involvement, ensuring that all clients receive the best possible quality care and that care plans are maintained to a high standard.
- To ensure that all residents are safeguarded from physical, verbal, financial or material, psychological or sexual abuse, neglect, discriminatory abuse or self-harm, inhuman or degrading treatment through deliberate intent, negligence or ignorance in accordance with written policies.
**Essential Criteria**
- Provide evidence of at least 5 years of working in care industry.
- Provide evidence of minimum of Level 3, would be desirable working towards level 5.
- Must be a driver

Excellent rates of pay, uniform, PPE, DBS, Training, Pension Scheme and Mileage paid for.

**Salary**: £10.50-£10.70 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
**Experience**:
- providing care: 5 years (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
