''Job Description

**OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR**

Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm

We are a health and safety training and consultancy company, also offering bespoke commercial insurance. We are looking for an office administrator to compliment our existing staff at our head office in Chelmsford.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Answering the telephone to customers and brokers dealing with enquires & giving advice regarding the courses we offer
- Liaising with training accreditation centres
- Booking training courses and ensuring associated information sent
- Contacting customers to book / confirm appointments
- Be proficient in using computers inc. MS office suite
- Be a fast learner and adaptable to learning internal software packages
- Have the ability to remain calm under pressure
- You should have a good telephone manner and be able to communicate in all situations in a polite and professional manner
- Be self-motivated and be able to prioritise tasks
- Possess a willingness to learn and be able to adapt to changes in processes
- Have impeccable time keeping

**The role**:

- Salary £17,000 - £20,000 per annum (depending on age and experience), plus performance-related bonuses (after the probationary period)
- Monday-Friday 08:30 - 16:30 with an hour for lunch daily
- 20 days holiday per annum (pro rata) increasing by 1 day for every year of service to a maximum of 25 day

**Requirements**:

- GCSE or equivalent
- 2 years of previous experience in an admin role
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Strong organisational skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £15,810.28-£25,534.57 per year
