An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a receptionist in the North Wales GP Out of Hours Service (Central Division).
The purpose of this post is to provide an efficient and comprehensive administration and reception service for the service.
The post holder will work alongside the multi-disciplinary team and support in offering seamless care for the population of North Wales.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing a safe, effective Out of Hours care to the health community of North Wales. The post holder will provide comprehensive and high-quality administration and reception service for the North Wales GP Out of Hours Service and act as first point of contact for patients attending the service for appointments.
The post holder will manage the “Treatment Centre Holding Queue” ensuring that appointments and home visits are allocated to the most appropriate locality and clinician thus promoting patient safety and achievement of access targets as set by the Welsh Assembly Government.
To receive calls from other health care professionals and ensure that all calls are dealt with and passed to the most appropriate clinician.
