**Hours of Work**:
Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (One hour lunch break between 1pm and 2pm)

**Duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Execute point-of-sale procedures, including sales of over the counter medication, pharmacy merchandise and collecting necessary charges
- Follow established protocols for medication sales and use the WWHAM questioning technique to provide advice to patients on the use of medicines as well as general health and lifestyle matters.
- Under the supervision of the Responsible Pharmacist, manage the receipt and distribution of prescriptions
- Efficiently manage medication and stock orders according to company protocols to meet customer demands, while ensuring date and usage checks to optimize availability and minimise wastage
- Timely processing of invoices and paperwork in accordance with company guidelines
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized shop environment through diligent housekeeping duties
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive approach to achieving overall business objectives
- Participate in the delivery of any supplementary services (stop smoking advice, blood pressure testing etc) for which you will have received adequate training

**Hours**: 40 hours per week

**Job Types**: Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £10.60 per hour
