Community Support Worker required

Reed Community Care provide specialist care and support to clients all over the Merseyside and Cheshire area.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced support worker for the following job role. You must be a driver with a valid driving licence.
- Location: Connah’s Quay
- Job Type: Temporary (School Holidays)
- Hourly Rate: £12.50 (Paid via PAYE with annual leave accrual)
- Driver Essential

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide holiday support to a 20-year-old male. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a supportive capacity, helping individuals to engage with their community and live more independently.

**Day-to-day of the role**:

- Assisting with accessing community activities such as cinema visits, gym sessions, escape rooms, playing pool, and dining out.
- Accompanying to physiotherapy appointments and supporting with mobility.
- Helping to develop cooking skills and other daily living tasks.
- Ensuring safety and promoting independence while out in the community.
- Driving is an essential part of the role, so a valid driving license is required.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- A caring and supportive attitude with a drive to make a positive impact in someone’s life.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have a valid driving license and be willing to transport the individual to various activities.
- Previous experience in a support role is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work during school holiday periods.
