Title: P/time Purchase Ledger Clerk - 16-20 hours p/day - 4 days p/week - School hours to suit
Based: Sunbury-on-Thames
We are assisting this lively and successful Sunbury based business in their search for a part time Purchase Ledger Clerk, an a role that offers variety and flexibility - The need is for 16 hrs a week and perhaps up to 20 hours on some occasions.
**Job purpose**:
Responsible for all data entry on the purchase ledger - and includes clerical tasks such as typing reports, filing, handling phone calls, dealing with mail and low-level reconciliations.
**Key Interactions**:
Other Accounts Assistants, Managing Director
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Work with purchase ledgers, journals and spreadsheets.
2. Perform calculations and checks to ensure that records are correct.
3. Provide accounting support.
4. Reconcile supplier statements.
5. Maintaining fuel card/ ID card records.
6. Maintain spreadsheets.
7. Accurate data entry.
8. Handling and uploading supplier insurances.
9. Recording vehicle accidents/insurances.
