We are looking for a Senior Lead Residential Support Worker. You will lead a shift and support the manager at our four bed EBD children's home.

The substantial, detached home is spacious, tastefully decorated and well furnished, perfectly adapted for modern living. Communal areas are comfortable. The location is in Lytham St Annes in the beautiful Fairhaven Lake area.

Working as a Senior Lead Children’s Support Worker, you act as Team Leader and manage a team on shifts, you will also support the manager with management duties. Your attention will focus on the young people and their preparations for adulthood.

**Salary and Benefits**

**£27,898 ** per annum, plus £60 sleep-in allowance

A 37-hour week operating on a shift based working pattern includes the opportunity to work additional hours, providing you with increased earning capacity. The shift pattern is a 1 on 2 off shift pattern with a sleep in on each shift. Time with be set aside in your rota to support the manager and for your own management development.

A dedicated management team, always available for operational support and assistance.

Quality accredited training for continued professional development and fully funded support toward Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)

We take a genuine interest in your career development and the opportunity to progress to more senior positions.

We will fully fund your DBS fee if you are not on the update service.

**Requirements**:
Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or an equivalent qualification

Minimum 18 months experience working in a residential children’s home

Proven ability to lead a team

A commitment to actively safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people in the home
