**About the Role**

**Salary**: £37,600 - £56,400 max + car /car allowance + performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Leader to join our team

As a Project Leader you will support the Regional Team Manager, and Head of SSE Out of Area Networks Delivery with the successful delivery of SSE Network Out of Area Projects.

You will ensure that all Operational, Commercial and Financial tasks relating to project delivery have been completed.

We are looking for someone who is proactive and energetic, seeking to get things done whilst dealing with a variety of tasks

**Roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Ensure that all projects are delivered to a high standard. Maintaining Project Files & Directory ensuring all information is present and correct. Collate the documentation required for project closures and handovers to Asset owners.
- Understand and administer the projects Contract, track project variations, raise invoice requests and prompt payment of invoices to contracted parties.
- Accurate project reporting, showing the current and forecasted financial positions. Ensuring there are valid Purchase Orders in place for all upcoming works & invoices are approved on receipt of work completion packs.
- Incorporate a positive safety culture in everything you do. Making sure all relevant safety reports are completed and collated on time and that the correct operational safety procedures are being adhered to by all Contractors and Direct Labour alike.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience of Electrical Project Delivery
- An HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering of other relative engineering discipline (or relevant experience in a similar role).
- An understanding of the Sales Process to enable support of Business Development Managers from a Delivery Perspective.
- Health & Safety experience and Qualifications (e.g. SMSTS)
- Excellent Communication Skills with the ability to influence all levels
