Accounts and Administration Officer

**Who are we?**
An established fishing company based in Paignton Harbour, looking for an experienced member of staff to join a team.
**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Entry in to Sage and Xero of sales and purchase invoices, credit card and bank transactions
- Bank reconciliation
- Credit control and preparation of debtor reports
- Support of the Financial Controller in preparation of Management Accounts, VAT Returns, and Financial reports
**Required Skills and Experience**
- Experience of bookkeeping
- Knowledge of accounting systems such as Sage, Xero or other
- Strong IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience of customer service
- AAT qualifications are desirable
- Reliable, professional and ethical
- Keen to learn
- Conscientious, accurate, attention to detail
- Discretion when dealing with confidential information
- Friendly, helpful, supportive of clients and colleagues
**The Offer**:
- Start: ASAP
- Location: Paignton
- Salary: £13.50 - £15.50 per hour, depending on experience
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
