This is an exciting opportunity to join the DHL Communications team as a Communications Content Creator.

If you’re someone who’s savvy on social, loves telling people’s stories and has the skills to produce high-quality videos, photos and copy, keep reading because we want you as part of our team.

You’ll be responsible for producing engaging daily content on our employee intranet and app to help keep our 2,500 employees informed and engaged.

As a Communications Content Creator you’ll get the chance to be highly creative. You’ll come up with ideas, prepare and produce content and watch the likes and comments as they roll in.

**Hours**:09:00-17:30** **- flexibility is required

**Location**:DHL at East Midlands Airport, with occasional travel to sites at London Heathrow and Luton airports

Key responsibilities:

- All employees are responsible for the health and safety of themselves and also those affected by their activities.
- Plan, create and publish daily content on our employee intranet which supports the communications strategy and business priorities
- Draft engaging daily articles and pages, produce and edit high-quality videos, photos and graphics to support content
- Maintain a content calendar and pages matrix
- Devise ideas for content
- Interview employees around the business to share their experiences
- Curate content for the app
- Maintain pages to ensure content is up-to-date
- Co-ordinate photo and video shoots where needed
- Monitor and report on app usage
- Liaise with stakeholders to drive app usage around the business
- Monitor user-generated content and moderate content where necessary
- Proofread all content to ensure accuracy
- Ensure output meets DHL Group brand guidelines and aligns with both the local communications strategy and organisational priorities
- Support employees to use the app and respond to queries where necessary
- Other ad hoc duties as required

**You’ll bring to this role**:

- A safety first attitude. You must conduct yourself in an orderly manner within the workplace, ensuring that correct uniform and PPE is worn when required.
- Strong photography and videography skills (Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro) **Essential**:

- Strong design skills (Adobe Creative Cloud) to create assets
- Strong written communications skills **Required**:

- Excellent communications judgement
- Planning and organisational skills
- Use of content management systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT skills, using Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Flexibility in working times to meet business needs
- Willing to travel to other UK sites and flex working hours when necessary
- Previous experience in a similar role **Desirable**
