- WHAT YOU WILL DO- Manage Stores personnel throughout the shift.
- Clarify the roles and responsibilities of all team members.
- Assess and induct new operators.
- Promote development and training within the logistics department in line with the overall strategy of the Vaillant Group.
- Stock control using the Warehouse Management System SAP WM & SAP, Mobisys, knowledge of the AGV.
- Monitor and report on the materials management systems and processes and recommend improvements.
- Measure, control and improve the performance of the Store and communicate that performance through the effective use of KPI’s and EVM boards.
- Promote an open culture so that all team members feel able to make suggestions for improvements.
- Communicate handover to next shift.
- Ensure H&S and quality procedures are known and always met.
- Ensure Quality specifications are known and met at all times.
- WHAT YOU BRING ALONG- Forklift truck licence (Counterbalance and Reach essential).
- Good analytical/problem solving skills.
- A positive can-do attitude.
- Good man-management skills.
