**Quality Check Specialist (Packaging Industry)**
**Manchester area**
**Salary: Up to £45,000 (negotiable based on experience)**

Our client is one of the UK’s most successful sustainable packaging companies, sourcing packaging globally, to and from, to help make the world an eco-friendlier place. They’re currently seeking someone based in the Manchester area to bolster their Quality department.

They are seeking a thorough and detail-oriented Quality Check Specialist to join their dynamic team.

**The Role**:

- Carry out quality checks on packaging products at various stages of the production process to identify any defects or inconsistencies to the established standards
- Assess and verify the accuracy of design, colour and material of the overall product
- Work with company teams to address any identified issues and recommend necessary remedial actions
- Maintain detailed records of quality assessments, observations, findings and communicate this information to relevant stakeholders
- Suggesting continuous improvement efforts by providing insights and recommendations to enhance packaging production processes, minimize defects and improve overall product quality
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, guidelines, and standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
- Will have a proven track record of attention to detail and meticulousness in conducting quality assessments
- Be experienced in packaging production and printing methods, demonstrating an understanding of various materials, printing techniques and production processes
- Will have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues, identify root causes and recommend effective solutions
- Will have excellent communication skills to convey quality-related information clearly and professionally to teams and stakeholders
- Will work well in a team, encouraging a positive and inclusive work environment
- Have skills in relevant software and tools used for quality assessments, data recording and reporting
- Be flexible and adaptable to meet changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
- Be committed to upholding safety protocols, quality standards and industry regulations.
