Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our establishment. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional hospitality will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

Additional hours can be available helping assist with serving breakfast.

We are a small Lake District hotel located in the Western lakes close to Gosforth, Wasdale & Eskdale. With 16 bedrooms, self catering accommodation and a two bedroom flat, restaurant and bar area experience and attention to detail is essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Change bed linens and ensure rooms are well-stocked with amenities
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management abilities
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
