Brighton, United Kingdom 379 University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust Full time

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Health, Wellbeing & Engagement Team and be actively involved in the Trust’s Patient First Programme to deliver continuous change and make a difference.

As the Health, Wellbeing & Engagement Administrator, do you relish a challenge, have passion to develop and support health and wellbeing initiatives to underpin and improve staff engagement and patient care, then University Sussex Hospitals Foundation Hospitals Trust, has all the right ingredients.

Are you energetic and determined to succeed, with the ability to work independently, build and develop effective relationships, whilst being fully supported by the Health, Wellbeing & Engagement Programme Manager.

You will have excellent communication, administration, organising and planning skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify areas for improvement.

We are a team and Trust ambitious to achieve improvements in the workplace experiences of all our staff. We recognise the additional barriers many minoritised staff groups experience to equal access and participation, and the benefits to patient care and population health when those barriers are addressed.
- Providing administrative and projects support to the Health, Wellbeing & Engagement (HWE) team: You will provide administrative support on a number of initiatives, including, National NHS Staff Survey, Monthly exit data, administering adhoc surveys and analysing data, Salary sacrifice, maintenance of our wellbeing intranet/internet websites and social media, Newsletters, assisting in HWE campaigns, Long Service Awards and maintaining programme databases.
- Manage the Health, Wellbeing & Engagement Team office. This will include inducting new starters to the team and supporting their on boarding pathway (using own knowledge of Trust processes); ensuring Health & Safety, Information Governance and Data Protection requirements are met; procuring physical assets and supplies (using Trust procurement systems); and establishing and maintaining the team’s equipment asset registers. (Once procedures have been established, it is not expected that this will constitute a particularly time-consuming aspect of the role).
