**What you will be doing**

Reporting to our Policy Research Manager, you will be working in our Strategic Insight team to design, deliver and disseminate high quality quantitative and qualitative research projects and analysis. Your work will provide a robust evidence base that will be used to support policy development across Which? including campaigns and press, helping us tackle consumer harm and drive positive change for consumers.

You will also:

- Manage and deliver with support a wide range of high-quality consumer and policy research projects to tight deadlines
- Communicate, with assistance, the findings of research projects, effectively and creatively telling the story of your findings, both verbally and in writing in an effective and creative manner
- Support our high performance team by collaborating with teammates and participating in quality assurance processes, such as data checks, proofing and peer review
- Contribute to positive relationships with colleagues in Strategic Insight, Advocacy and more widely across Which?
- Keep up with the latest development in research practices and key policy areas
- Demonstrate Which?'s values of We care, We're rigorous, We're brave, We make it happen and We're connected

**What will you bring?**

We are looking for an outgoing team player with a can-do attitude. You have a genuine interest in delivering research in a policy setting to help tackle consumer detriment.

You will have:

- Previous experience of at least 1-2 years in a researcher role conducting primary quantitative research (agency-side experience is desirable though not essential)
- Experience of designing and managing multiple research projects with tight deadlines
- Relevant knowledge of research best practice, industry standards, data handling and compliance
- Experience of creating analytical summaries both verbally and in writing (e.g. reports, blogs, presentations etc.)
- Awareness of current affairs, policy and political developments, especially in consumer policy areas
- Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Our interview process usually involves 2 stages:

- Potential screening call by phone, typically 20 minutes, followed by.
- An interview on Google Meet (approximately 45-90 minutes) consisting of values and experience-based competency questions and a role-related task that will be issued 48 hours prior to the interview
