**Vehicle Damage Assessor /Estimator required in Durham**
- **Basic salary of up to £35,000.**:

Our client, a nationally renowned organisation operating in the roadside incident management market, is seeking a Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team in their busy Durham branch.

**What will the successful Vehicle Damage Assessor do?**
- Inspection of damaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of the damage, costs of repair and timeframes.
- An important aspect of this job is to identify the correct prescribed repair method and prepare, record and maintain records of electronic and manual estimates.
- You will then liaise effectively with insurance companies to obtain their authority to repair the vehicle at the costs estimated.
- You will also effectively liaise with customer’s engineers and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology.

**The successful Vehicle Damage Assessor will have**:

- Experience of being a VDA, ideally with all the latest knowledge of using Audatex systems.
- An ability to work to a high standard and have a good eye for detail with a methodical approach to their work.
- Great teamwork skills with a can-do attitude.
- A desire to develop their knowledge and skills.
- An awareness of the importance of Health and Safety compliance.
- A passion for great customer experience - you understand what is important to your customers and suppliers.

**The Successful Vehicle Damage Assessor will get**:

- Basic salary of up to £35,000.
- OTE of c. £40,000.
