**Working Hours**: 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm, on a weekly rotating shift pattern

**Tex Plastics in Barnstaple manufacture Plastic Injection mouldings supplying to a number of market sectors in the UK and abroad. As part of the wider TEX Group, the Plastics division is an established and expanding organisation, employing over 200staff and operating across two UK sites, in Barnstaple and Derby.**
Accredited to ISO9001, and working towards ISO13485, Tex Plastics Ltd supply to a huge variety of products to industries including defence, medical, food, electrical and construction.
**Role Responsibilities - Quality Engineer**:
Due to a huge amount of growth, the search is now underway for a **Quality Engineer** to help maintain the high standards and reputation for producing high quality goods.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Perform audits in line with site requirements
- Complete product inspections at agreed schedule
- Work with customers regarding quality concerns
- Assist with part approval processes
- Perform route cause analysis and problem-solving tools to identify solutions to quality problems
- Manage approved samples
- Deputise for Quality Facilitator as required
**Person specification - Quality Engineer**:
- Have a friendly outgoing personality
- Experience of dealing with customers
- Confident handling customer complaints
- Knowledge of Calibration systems
- Keen eye for detail when undertaking product/patrol inspections
- Able to understand/read engineering drawings
- Able to use handheld measuring devices such as micrometres and vernier
- Experience of using colour measuring devices
- Ability to program and use CMM machines would be an advantage
