Global Energy Systems is a British, renewable energy company supported by over 50 years of international engineering experience. Three generations have been involved in the company, each innovating and developing engineering excellence. The last seven years have been dedicated to the development of renewable energy technology through high performance, air source heat pumps. Our British designed and built Eco Air Boilers provide central heating and hot water simultaneously and can reduce carbon emissions by up to 60%, and heating bills by up to 65%. They are designed and built to work specifically with the UK climate and to outperform gas, oil and electric systems for the duration of their 25 year life.

**Job Role**

This role is within the Service Department of Global Energy Systems. The purpose of the role is to provide high quality support and technical guidance over the phone to customers, installers and internal sale representatives.

**Responsibilities**
- Contacting and notifying customers of any potential issues
- Trouble shooting any issues with customers and their current heating systems
- Answering any queries or requests customers may have
- Providing energy and cost related reports with detailed explanations that the customer understands
- Provide written and verbal instructions, clearly, to any engineer working on a task
- Understand engineer drawings and diagrams and make calculations based on these diagrams. Relaying the findings correctly and accurately.
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineers of our equipment
- Project manage tasks from start to finish with the end result of customer satisfaction at the forefront of the task

In depth knowledge of equipment and the heating system is required to be accurately relayed to engineers in order for tasks to be completed successfully. Global Energy Systems provides an excellent training and development programme to advance all employees knowledge and expertise to a high level of support.
- Provide technical support and advice to sales colleagues
- Carry out sizing proposals if required
- Understand the regulations of installations and how this will affect customers at the end of the sale/installation process

**Minimum Requirements**

We are looking for a self-starter, who can show initiative, has an eagerness to learn and wants to grow and develop themselves as an expert in a growing field of renewable technology. There is a lot of technical information to learn, understand and utilise during the role. A graduate from a mechanical engineer or technical degree would be beneficial, however not essential, as full training is provided. Experience in customer service, again would be beneficial, however someone with a confident, polite phone manner and adaptable personality to deal with differing people is key to the role.
