**Job Description**:
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and professional Head Waiter/Head Waitress to join our dynamic team at Lusin Mayfair. As the Head Waiter/Head Waitress, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Team Leadership:

- Lead and motivate the waitstaff team to provide excellent service.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily specials, menu changes, and service expectations.
- Provide training and guidance to new and existing staff members.
- Ensure a smooth flow of service during peak dining hours.

2. Customer Service:

- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with tact and efficiency.
- Monitor the overall dining experience and address any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.

3. Order Management:

- Oversee the order-taking process, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and coordinated delivery of orders.
- Handle special requests and dietary restrictions with care and attention.

4. Table Maintenance:

- Coordinate table assignments and optimize seating arrangements.
- Ensure that tables are set according to the restaurant's standards.
- Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.

5. Upselling and Promotion:

- Promote daily specials and upsell menu items to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Encourage the waitstaff to actively suggest and recommend dishes, beverages, and desserts.

6. Inventory Management:

- Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels for front-of-house supplies.
- Report any shortages or damages promptly to the appropriate personnel.

7. Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Uphold sanitation and cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant.
- Monitor and enforce responsible alcohol service.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Head Waiter/Head Waitress or similar role in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
