**Sales Director - £80K base, £160K OTE**

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead thier API sales team and drive revenue growth for their company. The Sales Director will be responsible for creating and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities,and managing relationships with key clients.

The Company:

- Recently Seed funded SaaS start up with offices in London and Bucharest
- Closed just over $1.2m in their first round
- Looking to double headcount in the next 6 - 12 months

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for the API division
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base
- Manage and grow relationships with key clients and partners
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new product and market opportunities
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the market
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize sales efficiency

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the API market and technology
- Experience in building and managing a sales team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of CRM and sales automation tools
- Willingness to travel as required
