**The role**

As the Practice Lead for Agile Delivery Management (ADM), you will have a pivotal role in leading and growing our ADM practice at Opencast. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, driving technical excellence, balancing practice growth and utilisation, and fostering innovation within the practice. This role involves leading and mentoring a team of ADM professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions, and driving continuous improvement in the practice.

**Essential experience**:

- Extensive experience in Agile Delivery Management, and related roles, within the technology consulting industry, with a focus on leading and managing teams.
- Experience of other disciplines within the wider product delivery capability (Product management, business analysis and data analysis) and wider Opencast organisation, understanding the value of the roles and how they work together to get the best out of our people.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects and solutions.
- Experience of having difficult conversations, including coaching people who are under performing and making evidence based judgements.
- Experience of strategic and people leadership skills, providing direction and coaching people to deliver better outcomes.
- Commercial mindset, you understand the commercial impact and bigger picture of your work within your practice and the wider organisation.
- Ability to cultivate positive working relationships.
- Demonstrable experience of influence and persuading, at all levels.

**You'll need a good understanding of**:

- Principles and approaches to Agile and traditional delivery, across a range of frameworks.
- Software and User centred design principles and approaches.
- How the consultancy industry works, including both operationally and how we bid and win work.

**Other essential skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team of ADMs fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Ability to successfully lead change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrable experience embodying our OpencastC values.
- Proven experience of delivering cross functional organisational projects and initiatives.

**Other helpful experience**:

- Thought leadership in ADM, such as publishing articles, speaking at conferences, or contributing to industry forums.
- Experience in implementing and improving ADM processes and methodologies.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and their impact on digital delivery teams, the consultancy industry and our clients.
- Prior consulting experience, working with diverse clients and industries such as government and healthcare.
- Experience of evolving risk management processes within organisations and teams.
