Assistant Greenkeeper

Sweetwoods Golf Club is looking to appoint an assistant greenkeeper to work as part of the enthusiastic greenkeeping team under the direction of our talented Course Manager.

The club is keen to recruit the right person for the job and a competitive salary will be offered, BIGGA membership, all uniform, golf and free food and drink when on shift.
- 3 years’ experience and minimum NVQ level 2 in sports turf management (or equivalent)
- Spraying certificates PA1, PA2 and PA6 & First Aid Certificate - _preferred but not essential_
- Basic knowledge of Health and Safety regulations

**Duties will include**:

- Assist the Course Manager and Deputy Course Manager in the preparation and maintenance of the Golf Course to the highest possible standard.
- A keen eye for detail
- Weekend and Bank Holiday work is carried out on a rota basis throughout the year.
- Mowing banks, rough and semi-rough, surrounds and approaches, tees, greens and fairways and other general work.
- Undertaking other appropriate duties as required by the Course Manager.
