Are you looking to kickstart your career in logistics and warehousing? MJ Quinn is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Stores Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop valuable skills, and work towards a nationally recognised qualification.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Receiving and Storing Goods**: Assist in the receipt and storage of incoming goods, ensuring accurate and efficient handling and placement within the warehouse.
- **Order Picking and Packing**: Support the order picking and packing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation of customer orders.
- **Inventory Management**: Help maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
- **Loading and Unloading**: Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, using appropriate handling equipment and techniques.
- **Health and Safety**: Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report any hazards or incidents promptly.
- **Housekeeping**: Maintain a clean and organised warehouse by performing regular housekeeping duties, including the proper disposal of packaging materials.
- **Learning and Development**: Actively participate in training sessions and workshops to develop your skills and knowledge in warehouse operations.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: GCSE Grade A*-C (4-9) or equivalent in Maths and English
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving items.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- **Reliability**: Punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
- **Technology**: Basic understanding of technology and willingness to learn to use warehouse management systems and equipment.
- **Driving Licence**: Thought not essential, would be beneficial to the role.
