**Newly created role**A professional services firm requires an Intranet & Information Systems Analyst to assist the Intranet & Information Systems Manager with the management of the firm’s Intranet.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Helps promote the storage and sharing of business information and collaborative working through helping to provide appropriate tools in M365, in particular, SharePoint and MS Teams.
- Contributes to the intranet & M365 agile scrum development process liaising closely with the IT Department over what is developed and when it is developed.
- Provides support to the Information Services Manager and Intranet & Information Systems Manager with usage reports.
- Provides support to the Records Management team, and Library team if required.
- Works closely with other members of the Information Services team and with IT staff.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Helps to provide and develop an intranet for the firm, for internal communication and document storage.
- Helps to review the usage of the intranet and to ensure sound processes are in place for staff to understand where documents and information should be stored.
- Helps to promotes staff engagement of intranet and document management tools.
- Assists with the design and development of an extranet to enable document and information sharing with strategic partners.
- Understand and applies M365 tools - in particular SharePoint and MS Teams tools for information storage, governance, sharing and collaborative working for the firm.
- Participates in Agile Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Product Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospective.
- Collaborates with departments / teams to understand and translate business requirements into appropriate solutions.
- Works with IT to ensure site permissions are monitored and appropriate and helps to provide reporting on permissions.
- Helps with SharePoint sites / site collection creation and provision of sound site navigation and information design. Helps with MS Teams sites creation and provision.
- Works with Intranet & Information Service Manager on the visual design and theme for the intranet, and intranet content.
- Helps to monitors intranet analytics to help drive improvement.
- Keeps up to date with trends in the use of technologies to manage information and data with reference to intranet systems.
- Keeps current with Excel/SharePoint skills and trends in information management.
- Helps to provides end user training as required.
- Helps with provision of 2nd line support for SharePoint and MS Teams on-prem and online.
- Represents the Intranet & Information Systems Manager as necessary.

**To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and experience**
- Experience with helping to manage an intranet in a complex organisation.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online and MS Teams.
- Experience of contributing to projects, with preferably experience of Agile methodology.
- Experience in digital communications.
- Evidence of being able to quickly understand the key features of systems.
- Evidence of being able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with document/information management, taxonomies, and classification in M365 is preferable.
- Knowledge of Data Protection legislation and regulations (GDPR) is preferable.
