Business Improvement and Implementation Lead

We are currently working with a fantastic authority that is looking for an Interim Business Improvement and Implementation Lead
We am looking for two experienced strategy, service design and change managers.
One post will lead on the roll out of our Family Hubs. Islington is one of the 75 Local Authority’s nationally who will be designated as a 'Family Hub Development Borough’ by the Department for Education, which funds this project.
The second post will lead on our inspection approach, the review of support to adults with multiple and complex needs as a result of institutional child abuse and our savings transformation programme.
I am looking for someone who is:
- Great self-starters and highly motivated
- Collaborative, working well all types of people
- Proven track record in leading and delivering major service design and change projects that improve how an organisation works and/or complex projects or programmes within a similar environment
- Experienced in service and systems design and using the methodologies to do this
- Experienced in using project management methodologies
- Experienced in delivering projects within complex organisations
- Able to work with senior stakeholders and partners to deliver change
- Quick to digest and understand complex information
- Focussed on delivering real benefits to our residents
- Keen to listen to and understand diverse voices and perspectives
- Committed to working in a respectful and tolerant way
The role will not only test business analysis, project management, research and design skills but also provide the opportunity to drive continuous improvement and change into services, department and organisation.
