A Research Associate position is available for an outstanding and ambitious individual to undertake computational research on numerical simulations of reactive flows in complex geometries. In this project you will develop a framework for accelerated chemical kinetics calculations in an in-house code, and perform high-fidelity direct numerical simulations that aim to investigate flow-turbulence-structure interactions in real geometries.

You should have, or be working towards, a PhD or equivalent in mathematics, physics, or engineering, specialising in computational fluid dynamics or a closely related discipline. Expertise in developing numerical methods and code for research in fluid/continuum mechanics is essential. You should be capable of working under your own initiative. Excellent communication and organisational skills are also required.
