We are currently recruiting for Sales Ledger Assistant to join our passionate and driven team based at our client’s site in Bury St Edmunds.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Reporting and processing the daily bank receipts
- Monthly reconciliation of bank account
- Raising invoices for all areas of sales ledger
- Managing the third party invoices debt
- Maintaining PO number requests
- Processing of site hospitalities daily into our finance system
- Sending statements to support the credit controller

Qualities

Desired
Qualification in accounting
Ambition to complete full AAT qualification
AAT level 2
Relevant experience in accounts
None
Office admin experience
Time management skills
Ability to plan and prioritise workload using appropriate tools
Highly analytical
Demonstrate an understanding of analysing account reconciliations
Shows initiative to correct errors found from analysis
Good IT skills
Demonstrates skills in using excel
Understanding of Saffron system and export process
Flexible working
Understands accounting timetables and planning of hours required for month end
Attention to detail
Good attention to detail
Proven experience of identifying and resolving issues and variances
