**Role Profile**

Reporting to the Product Director, this is an important strategic appointment for the growth of Newmarket Holidays. The incumbent will closely support the Product Director, Product Heads and wider Product team, in co-ordinating the pipeline of new opportunitiesfor differentiation, managing several departmental wide workstreams and projects, as well as improving on existing initiatives and driving strategic change.
This is a broad role, requiring great people skills, an ability to drive change with excellent organisational skills. You will be expected to lead improvement across a number of areas within the Product team, including content creation, brochure cycles, collaborationwith the e-commerce & marketing teams and also take ownership of NPS & quality performance (including detailed operational aspects
In addition, working closely with the Product Director and other Heads, this role will be required to co-ordinate the development of new Product concepts, from initial analysis through to launch to market, ensuring clear guidelines are maintained, and thatthere is consistency across all brand channels.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Reporting to the Product Director, support the Product Heads in driving change and strategic improvements.
- Taking ownership of Product content strategy, identifying areas for improvement, refining the workflows between Product, E-Commerce and Marketing, and supporting the Product team in delivering against these to ensure Product content is accurate across allchannels.
- Own brochure planning cycles from a Product perspective, driving improved efficiency.
- Ownership of the internal rolling planner to ensure all departments have visibility of and are prepared for upcoming product launches and marketing activity.
Acting as main conduit between Product team and E-Commerce / Marketing teams - driving collaboration opportunities, ensuring that this is optimised to maximise promotion of all brand channels.
- Taking ownership of NPS and quality delivery, identifying and supporting other Product teams on opportunities for improvement.
- Alongside Product Heads, using data and customer insight to identify areas of development including maximising cross-sell opportunities.
- Acting as co-ordinator for the creation of new Product concepts, from initial analysis through to launch to market, ensuring clear guidelines are maintained, and that there is consistency across all brand channels and between both online and offline presentation.
- Supporting efficiency through technology improvements and process changes within the Product area, with a direct focus on delivering optimal margins.
- Acting as co-ordinator for competitor and market analysis to help the Product teams to understand opportunities to bring new product to life for our loyal customers.
- Acting as co-ordinator development of relationships with tourist boards and assist brand heads in resulting campaigns, ensuring best practices are shared across the different teams.
- Managing our Tour Manager function, including timely recruitment and allocation, ongoing communication and performance management.
- Acting as central lead for Operations teams, ensuring consistent value is delivered to all customers, and that workload is constantly being balanced between areas.
- Where necessary, supporting the overall company’s incident management team.
- Assisting in the co-ordination of ad hoc projects and assignments across the Product department.

**Who am I?**
- Passionate and highly knowledgeable about travel, preferably escorted touring, with a strong network of contacts.
- Experience in managing a team, coaching, and developing them to success.
- Experience in Product or Proposition, preferably within escorted touring.
- Ability to build a business case.
- Customer focused mindset and can use customer data accurately.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Action orientated - constantly delivering against objectives and targets and strives to get things done.
- Self-motivated - can work on own initiative and together with a team to deliver results.
- Knowledge and success in customer attraction, acquisition, and retention.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a demanding workload.
- Constantly looking to improve what we do with a dedication to quality and service.
- Team player with exceptional communication skills at all levels.
- Confident presentation skills and able to influence and manage relationships at Senior level.
- Able to drive and be prepared to travel as necessary for product research, site inspections etc.
- Excellent negotiator who understands the balance required between quality and price.
- Able to work on several projects and tasks at once, sometimes under pressure and to tight deadlines, without sacrificing attention to detail.
- Flexible approach to working and adaptable to changing priorities as demands dictate.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
