We currently have an exciting and challenging Trainee Underwritier opportunity available within our successful **Leeds **branch, where the team are committed to nurturing and developing our people to reach their full potential. With growth plans in place, we recognise the importance in identifying talented people to become the next generation of professional Underwriters in our business, where you can make a valued contribution. At AXA we’re adopting a Hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the Leeds office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Dealing with customers, providing excellent service and working to demanding targets.
- Building relationships and speaking confidently with people over the phone.
- Providing administration support within the team, you’ll learn how to underwrite new and existing business profitably, accurately and in line with established Underwriting practice.
- The role will be working within a team dealing with a specific facility, whilst supported and part of our wider commercial fleet team, which ultimately allows for longer term career progression.

There will be a very thorough induction programme, introducing you to AXA, our systems and processes. The training will be undertaken by our current commercial fleet team, beyond the induction period, there will be on-going support for the individuals, as their empowerment progresses.
