Successful applicant/s will work closely within the Neurodevelopmental multi-disciplinary team within the Community Paediatric Service, to facilitate the assessment of possible Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The applicant/s would also offer virtual post-diagnostic support for families in relation to ASD, Sleep and mild anxiety.

They will provide effective evidence-based care to families and young people under the supervision of a professionally qualified clinician(s). The care provided will be planned organised and delivered in a timely manner in line with Trust protocols, pathways and professional standards.

Successful applicant/s will be working in a team of established Assistant Practitioners, alongside Specialist Speech and Language Therapists, Neurodevelopmental Specialist Nurses and Consultant Paediatricians. The role will entail observations of children and young people, gathering evidence from families and schools as well as collating and reporting evidence to the lead professional within the team. Training will be provided for formal and informal assessments across a range of Neurodevelopmental conditions.

Successful applicant/s will also contribute to and participate in the development of a culture that is committed to continuous innovation and quality improvement and contribute to improved health outcomes for children and families within an integrated team.
