Contract Administrator

**Purpose**
To provide an inclusive and comprehensive contract support service to the Technical Services team to ensure effective delivery of the repairs and planned works contract to NCHA Group and clients to ensure excellent customer service.
**Main responsibilities**
Support the Contract Administration Manager to ensure the effective delivery of contracted repairs and planned services.
Support with the administration of procurement of services via traditional tenders or frameworks in line with company policy and procedure; assist in producing and monitoring KPIs and taking necessary action to ensure the agreed standards are achieved.
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of Departmental Operational Plans; producing standard operating plans for area of work.
- Liaise with the planning team on arranging the of post inspection of completed works and H&S inspections
- Ensure timely collation of handover packs and information for planned works
- Provide administrative support to service area managers as required including but not limited to:
- Supporting with contract administration from inception to satisfactory completion
- Organising of operational and core group meetings including producing action logs and minutes
- Liaising with contractors for completed jobs not invoiced
- Proactively manage works in progress orders with contractors
- Updating computerised and manual maintenance records relating to service area in line with
departmental procedures
- Support service area managers to monitor and report on designated budgets; providing information that would support in compilation of departmental budgets.
- Assist in the variation and contract payment processes in line with contracts and NCHA financial policies.
- Provide administrative support for complaints
- Update databases and support the departmental managers in the preparation of accurate reports and performance information
Assist with ensuring that programmes of work are communicated to stakeholders in advance of works being carried out.
**Knowledge**
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a construction/QS related field
Current knowledge of building construction, trades and maintenance services
Experience of working in either a contract administrative role
Demonstrable high level of numeracy and literacy
Demonstrable experience of effectively planning and organising of contract administrative tasks
I.T skills including advanced use of excel and word plus the ability to develop further knowledge
Understanding of needs of people from diverse social/cultural/racial backgrounds
Willingness to promote and adhere to the CLEAR values of NCHA
Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30 35 hours per week £15.00 per hour
**Salary**: £15.00-£22.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Nottingham, NG6 8GE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
