Design Authoriser

We are recruiting for a Design Authoriser to join our leading aircraft manufacturing company that is at the forefront of innovating technologies.
- Inside IR35
- Office in Filton
- £50.00 - £52.00 per hour - umbrella
- 1 Stage interview

Design Authoriser Overview:

- This is an excellent opportunity to expand your technical and leadership skills in a fun and collaborative working environment
- You will receive support from people in your team and the wider company
- You will be responsible for leading design investigations
- You will create technical solutions for a variety of tasks (non-conformances, design investigations and on specific tasks)
- Throughout your role you will liaise with other teams to ensure a fully integrated design solution
- You will be required to drive improvement within your team and improve efficiency
- Any technical issues which may arise you will be required to relay these to the managers
- You will develop relationships with stakeholders and the wider engineering team

Design Authoriser Requirements:

- We are looking for an individual who is motivated and self-driven
- You will have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- You will deliver tasks to a high standard and on time
- You will embrace challenges and changes within the team
- We are looking for someone who is able to identify risks and opportunities and manage them appropriately
- Throughout your role you will liaise with stakeholders to understand business requirements and multiple complex activities
- You will be required to bring new and innovative ideas to the table and explore alternative approaches
- Collaborate with the wider team and work within a trusting environment.
- Currently holds Concession Design Approval at Authoriser level.
