- To ensure a safe, punctual, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of services by:

- Managing the flow of drivers and vehicles out of depot, along route and back into depot.
- Identifying and communicating issues with schedules, allocations, specific drivers, and/or vehicl
- Forward planning on-the-day service requirements through to end-of
- To ensure we build strong teams and consistently deliver a great service every day in order to delight and exceed the customer's expectations.

**Main Duties**
- To provide leadership to the driving staff as a key representative of the management team, including handling queries and communicating business priorities.
- To oversee the Driver reporting.
- To cover service due to absence on the day.
- To ensure accurate recording of drivers' duties and att
- To ensure drivers leave the depot on time.
- To ensure the correct vehicle allocati
- To deal with external calls and issues, which may include complaints and queri
- To liaise with Engineering Supervisor and Radio Controller to maximise resour
- To liaise with city or town centre Supervisors and Inspector
- To take charge of emergency situati
- To liaise with depot management to ensure issues are communicat
- To keep staff updated on relevant informati
- To ensure comprehensive hand-over and coordination across shifts.
- To manage the cash collection from depot
- To maintain records of all events on the day (changeovers, breakdowns, congestion).
- To record lost mileage, ideally directly into EP Morris or other system.
- As needed, to record payroll information to Grampi
- To maintain records of ticket machines and driver modules.
- To ensure all depot machines are working (cash, module, depot readers, etc.).
- To ensure there is sufficient ticket roll supply.
- To carry out daily random checks on Drivers equipment.
- To ensure a high standard of Driver appearance.
- To actively monitor route punctuality, communicating corrective action to Drivers to prevent punctuality issues.
- To provide information and actions to drivers.
- To ensure that drivers can communicate issues and problems.
- To devise alternative disruption plans.
- To liaise with Controllers to ensure service delivery is effective and efficient.
- To liaise **with City** or town Centre Supervisors and Inspectors, engineering for breakdowns and changeovers, fostering a productive relationship.
